Siliguri is the hub of tourism in the East Himalayan region and tourism is of great focus here so their raised a need for a tourism association that maintained tourism integrity. Eastern Himalayas Travel and Tour Operators' Association (EHTTOA) was formed around 2002 and has uplifted the tourism sector and helped maintain harmony among various active travel traders in the region. Our members are from various regions throughout and that helps us focus on the slightest of issues that any place within our region may be in need of.

With the rise in travel traders in the region there raised a need for an active association that worked towards mass harmony among all the traders. EHTTOA is committed to promoting tourism in various sectors and to generate an atmosphere of healthy travel relationship and harmony among the members of the trade. We aim at protecting the natural and cultural environment along with promoting sustainable tourism. Our association is not just based on trade practices but to uphold the beautiful culture and the beauty that draws visitors here from across the globe.
